Quad 800V Galvanically Isolated Discrete-to-Digital Sensor

Holt Integrated Circuits today announced the release of a quad galvanically isolated discrete-to-digital sensor for avionics applications. The HI-8400 exceeds Airbus ABD0100 specification requirements by providing 800V galvanic isolation between individual sensors and the logic interface. Sensor input thresholds are compliant to Airbus ABD0100H and MIL-STD-704 specifications and sensor outputs may be read from a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) or parallel bus. Read more

MIL-STD-1553 / MIL-STD-1760 IP Core

Holt Integrated Circuits today announced the release of the new HI-6300 MIL-STD-1553 / MIL-STD-1760 IP core for military and commercial applications. The core is based on Holt’s independently-validated monolithic protocol ICs for MIL-STD-1553, namely Holt’s HI-6130 and MAMBA families, and is fully software compatible with them. Read more

24-Channel ARINC 429 Development Kit

Holt Integrated Circuits today announced the release of a new ARINC 429 application development kit, featuring 16 ARINC 429 receive channels and 8 ARINC 429 transmit channels. The data management engine is comprised of Holt’s recently announced HI-3220 IC, which integrates all 24 channels in a tiny 10mm x 10mm footprint. The kit hardware includes a CPU control board with ARM Cortex M3 16/32-bit microprocessor, debug interface and regulated 3.3VDC power supply, and a HI-3220 daughter card, configurable with various DIP switches. 24-Channel ARINC 429 Data Management IC with Integrated Line Receivers

Holt Integrated Circuits today expanded its ARINC 429 data management capability with the announcement of five new devices. The HI-3220 family is capable of managing, storing and forwarding avionics data between 16 ARINC 429 receive channels and 8 ARINC 429 transmit channels in a tiny 10x10mm² footprint. Integrated line receivers and a compact serial peripheral host interface (SPI) save significant amounts of space at such high channel densities, making these devices ideal for multi-channel applications such as data concentrators. An option for 8 receive and 4 transmit channels is also available in an even smaller, cost effective 7x7mm² QFN package footprint. Read more

Providing both MII and RMII interfaces, the devices are designed specifically for avionics applications, capable of operating from a single 3.3V power supply over the temperature range of -55C to 125C.
